Run by local Exeter artist Cally Hayes, Alright Mate? CIC was set up in 2019 as a response to suicide continuing to be the biggest cause of death of men under 50. Alright Mate?’s recent project ‘One conversation at a Time’, aims to get men from all walks of life together to talk about how they’re feeling and share that with other men. With a range of activities, from pyrography to wet plate photography, to learn new, fun and interesting skills whilst normalising conversations about men’s mental health.
