Join Arun Sood and Davina Quinlivan as they freestyle creativity and live write The Little Box.
Arun Sood is a writer, musician, academic and artist. Arun's books include New Skin For The Old Ceremony: A Kirtan , a 'road novel' exploring home, heritage, and belonging among the South Asian diaspora, and Searching Erskine , a non-fiction artbook exploring the intersections between sound, art, ecology, and place. He lives in Plymouth.
Davina is a writer and academic. She is interested in migration, ecology, sonic and immersive storytelling, in all kinds of literature, but especially modern and contemporary women's writing, creative non-fiction and nature writing. Her poetic memoir, Shalimar: A Story of Place and Migration, was published in 2020, and her new book, Possessions, is out in January 2026. It's an incendiary, exquisitely written, sharply funny account of one woman’s journey out of the collapsing systems of academia.
Join the live write, connect with your creative side, and meet Arun and Davina at this friendly lunchtime event.
