During the month of August, we have workshops lined up for kids. All are FREE. Register by emailing us.

Monday 1st August 2022 : ADANKO Children's Creative Workshop

Collage and Mixed-Media Workshop
Time: 11:00 AM | Duration: 90 min
Location: Bookbag
Tickets: FREE

Join us in this mixed-media art workshop to create an individual or group piece that will be displayed in the 'In-Between Lines' exhibit that explores adoption, mental health, and the mixed-race experience.

In this 90-minute session, we will be taking inspiration from artists of colour from around the world and looking at how they use the abstract to express their experiences and message. To do this we will be using different art mediums (such as paint, fabric, pencils and more). The work we produce will be displayed in the 'In-Between Lines' exhibit.

Everyone is welcome, but the workshops are aimed at children aged 7-11 years old, especially those from ethnic minorities and low socio-economic backgrounds.

If you have any questions about this event please email adankowriters@gmail.com. Pictures and videos of the event may be taken, if you have any concerns about this please don't hesitate to get in contact.

Register here.
